**How much is cheer registration?**
Cheer programs are $350 or less, depending on the program. Exact price will be charged during registration.

**Are there any additional costs?**
Athletes will be required to purchase a uniform, cheer sneakers, and other required attire. 

**Will there be try outs/do athletes get cut from the program?**
No, there are no tryouts. This is a no-cut program. There is a spot for everyone on a team, regardless of experience. 

**When does the season start/end?**
The cheer season will begin in early August and end in December. 
In August, practices are typically M-Th in the evenings. Once school starts, teams will practice either twice (younger teams) or three times a week (older teams).

**When are the practices?**
Exact practice times are still TBD. The very young athletes will likely practice twice a week. Older athletes can expect to practice three times a week.  APW always tries to make the schedule work for everyone!

**Does the program fundraise?**
Yes, all athletes are expected to participate in numerous fundraising events during the season. We do this to help keep registration fees as low as possible. Previous fundraising events we've participated in: Yankee candle fundraising, "canning", Charleston Wrap, and more. Any ideas or experience anyone has with fundraising, please let us know!

**Do we know the dates of the cheer competitions or any other important dates?**
We do! Please save the dates now. More complete info will be shared when the season begins:
Arlington Town Day: September 21, 2024
Comp 1: Sat Oct 12 (Woburn) *please notice this is a holiday weekend
Comp 2: Sat Oct 26 (location tbd)
Comp 3: Nov 9 or 10 (Springfield)  (Teams must qualify for this event.)
Comp 4: The 2024 Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer & Dance Championships will take place from December 7-14 in Orlando, Florida. (Teams must qualify for this event.)
